Their fallen are hereby redeemed in the eyes of the Emperor and are to be commended. 1st Platoon is to be held in reserve until troop and vehicle count are replenished.

That bonesword came down and swiped four guardsmen out of the picture. That left two out of the original six veterans who began the charge. Second Assault phase, only the Sergeant was left standing. Game was called due to time constraints.

My personal favourite moment of IG close combat heroism came when a normal Sergeant somehow managed to bring down a Necron Destroyer in the first turn of combat-the Emperor was watching over him that day!
